EU Force news
Investing in people always yields more than it costs
In today’s labour market, it is tempting to focus mainly on hourly rates. Yet time and again it becomes clear that the cheapest solution is rarely the best.
Good employment practice starts with genuine attention
In a time when it is difficult to find and retain staff, everything comes down to one thing: how you treat people.
The new licensing requirement for temporary employment agencies (WTTA): what does this mean for you?
The Dutch government is working on a new law: the Act on the Admission of Temporary Agency Work (WTTA).
Frequently asked questions
How does EU Force find suitable employees?
1. Through our recruiters:
We work with selected recruitment partners in Latvia and Lithuania. They receive a detailed job description, make an initial selection of suitable candidates, and forward them to us. We then conduct a video interview in English to carefully assess the candidate’s motivation and suitability.
2. Through online advertisements and job listings:
In addition, we post vacancies on social media and relevant job portals. Interested candidates apply directly with us, after which we also conduct a video interview in English to assess the match.
How quickly can you supply employees?
We do not guarantee delivery times, because quality always comes first for us. We want to avoid presenting an employee who is not the right fit. We would rather wait until we have the right match. However, we can provide an estimate of the timeline, depending on the role, the required experience, the salary, and other specific requirements.
How do you handle sickness absence?
We proactively reduce sickness absence by taking good care of our employees. Comfortable, high-quality housing with supervision of compliance with house rules contributes to satisfaction and low turnover. Upon arrival, employees receive clear instructions about expectations and the procedure for reporting sick. Thanks to this approach, our absenteeism rate is below 2%.
Where do your international employees come from?
We actively recruit in Latvia and Lithuania, but we are also open to candidates from other EU countries.
How are contracts and payroll administration handled?
We handle all contracts and payroll administration fully in accordance with NBBU standards. This means all contracts are drafted correctly and that increases and adjustments are always implemented properly. Salaries are paid weekly, on time, and accurately, so both candidates and clients have certainty and confidence.
How often is the salary paid?
Salary is paid weekly on Fridays. Employees receive their payslip before payment, so they know exactly what they will receive. The payment takes place in the week after the week worked. Example: if an employee works in week 41, they will receive the salary for that week on Friday in week 42.
What support will I receive?
Before arrival, employees receive clear instructions about their housing, workplace, and working hours, so they know exactly what to expect. During their stay, we keep in regular contact to check how things are going, and we are always available for questions or support.
What are the requirements to work at EU Force?
To start working at EU Force, employees must at least have an EU passport, be looking for a long-term job, and speak good English. We carefully screen candidates for experience and motivation. Candidates can always send their CV to apply@eu-force.nl. We then assess whether an interview will be scheduled.
